The Department of Kidney Transplantation, the National Key Clinical Specialty, stands as one of the largest and most technologically advanced kidney transplantation centers in China. The department performs over 500 kidney transplant surgeries annually, covering deceased donor kidney transplantation, living donor kidney transplantation, robot-assisted laparoscopic kidney transplantation, and various types of multi-organ combined transplantation. With a cumulative total of over 8,280 kidney transplant procedures (ranking among the top three nationwide), and particularly 3,870 deceased donor kidney transplants (ranking first in China), our department provides the broadest coverage and most complete technical solutions for patients with renal failure.
